Introduction

Utopia isn’t a land over the rainbow where accidents and tragedies don’t happen. Utopia is where we deal with these hardships in the best manner possible. It’s not about the perfect unchanging place, rather about the endless thrive to become it.

Many preach different ideologies and argue for the utopias they provide. But alas, I fear that such visionary societies, authoritarian or anarchistic, would struggle to endure a state of hardship and endurance. The “make-or-break” in dire scenarios, I believe, isn’t the mechanism that drives the society, but the empathy and solidarity that will protect humanity from oblivion.
